Use case

Telling stories between two

You add friends one by one, you tag each other in anecdotes, and merge the ones you lived together into a single voice. No public feed, no metrics — just people you actually lived things with.

The problem

You're writing about your dad. Your brother, who lived the same anecdote, remembers it differently. You remember the kitchen, he remembers the patio. You remember what your mom said, he remembers the smell of stew. Which one is "the truth"? Both. How do you bring them together?

What Anecdotario does

If your brother is also on Anecdotario and you're friends, you can:

Tag him in your anecdotes

You mention your brother in a story of yours and show it to him (privately, not public). He gets a notification. If he wants, he comments. If not, he just receives it.

Private comments

A 1-on-1 conversation about a specific anecdote. It's not WhatsApp — it's tied to the text, the comments live with the story.

Collaborative merges

If you both lived the same scene, you can merge your anecdotes. The AI takes the two versions, identifies which parts are shared facts vs. each one's own details, and proposes a consensus anecdote that keeps both voices. Both of you have to approve the merge before it closes.

The result lives in both corpora — each of you has it in your biography without losing your original version.

Privacy

  • Anecdotes are private by default. Only you see them. If you tag someone, that person sees it, no one else.
  • Your Pro doesn't transfer to friends. Each pays their own.
  • Block / unfollow works like any social network: that person stops seeing your anecdotes, the tags they had get hidden on their side.

How to add someone

Dashboard → Friends → "Invite". You send them an invite link. If they sign up using that link, they're added as your friend automatically. If they already have an account, they're added as "pending request" until they accept.
